Ponetex Logistics actively participates in the programme supported by The Poznań School of Logistics which task is to propagate the logistic knowledge between the pupils of secondary and technical schools with logistic and shipping classes.
One of the activities of this kind was the participation in the First Day of Logistics in Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych in Leszno on 1 March 2009. After the lecture given by the Chancellor of WSL Mr Ireneusz Fachner about the logistic centres in Poland and Europe, the students participated in workshops run by Agnieszka Frączek, Product Manager in Ponetex Logistics and Maria Wojciechowska, Logistics Manager in Werner Kenkel Ltd.
Workshops on "Customer service of fully palletised shipment in delivery chains" showed the real cooperation between the above-mentioned companies. The knowledge presented to the pupils was based on everyday practice between the logistics operator and its client.
"Sharing knowledge is one of the elements of CSR strategy. The sooner young people get interested in logistics the earlier they start broadening their knowledge in that field. All of us will benefit from it, the pupils will be better prepared for their professional work and the companies will have a chance to employ young people who possess knowledge from experienced workers. Nowadays employers pay much attention to the professional experience but few applicants have a chance to get it before applying for the first job. Sharing our knowledge is a perfect chance for them to see logistics foundation in practice and not just read about it in students' books" - says Agnieszka Frączek
